About the Gold Art Prize

The Gold Art Prize, administered by art advisor Kelly Huang of  KCH Advisory and Gold House, is a first-of-its-kind biennial award that spotlights the achievements of five contemporary Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) or Asian diaspora artists. Each awardee receives a $25,000 unrestricted cash prize. Awardees will also be the first artists included in Gold House Futures, an initiative that gives leading next-generation creatives, entrepreneurs, and social impact leaders opportunities for exposure and mentorship.

Accompanying the Gold Art Prize is a catalogue featuring essays and artist interviews by the following contributors: Dawn Chan, Marci Kwon, Simon Wu, Jasmine Wahi, and Sarah Tsung—edited by Kelly Huang and designed by Wkshps.
